Title: Crow #1 (Bendigeidfran)
Size: 20″ x 30″
The crow is the bird of myth and legend. They are said to be a symbol of good luck, and were messengers from the gods to the mortal world.
As a Welsh artist the crow also has more local representations. Brân the Blessed (Bendigeidfran, literally “Blessed Crow”) is a giant and king of Britain in Welsh mythology.
Regardless of their mythical status, the crow is a magnificent bird. Incredibly intelligent and full of character. Kings, giants, good luck, and messengers of the gods all wrapped up in one beautiful bird.
